School-Based Social Worker

• Bachelors degree in Social Work or a closely related field
• Minimum of 2 years prior experience in social work, ideally within a school or educational context
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
• Ability to manage sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality
• Flexibility to work part-time or full-time hours depending on individual availability

• Support licensed social workers in delivering services to students and families
• Assist in individual and group counseling sessions to address social, behavioral, or emotional challenges
• Help coordinate resources and referrals within the community
• Document casework, maintain thorough records, and ensure compliance with policies
• Participate in student support meetings and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school atmosphere
