Psychiatry Services of New York, part of Optum Behavioral Care, is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide comprehensive outpatient mental health care for a diverse patient population. This role offers the opportunity to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of psychiatric conditions while collaborating within a supportive behavioral health organization that provides extensive operational and clinical support.
PositionHighlights
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy services
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and regulatory compliance
- Support patient growth initiatives through provider profile and outreach efforts
- Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in New York
- Board Certified PMHNP-BC by ANCC or eligible for certification
- Active DEA registration
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of mental health conditions
