We want to find an innovative, adaptable, and results-oriented Service Now Developer for our Service Now Platform team. This position can be located in Waltham, MA, Brooklyn, NY, Hicksville, NY, or Syracuse, NY (candidates may also reside in either Connecticut, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Maine). As a Service Now Developer, you'll play a key role in designing and developing enterprise-grade solutions. You'll collaborate with external development partners and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions for a global enterprise environment. Key responsibilities include the following:

• Follow Service Now software development best practices & standards – Architecture principles, Integration standards, Release management, Platform upgrade strategy, performance tuning, etc.
• Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of the application
• Collaborate with Service Now Support concerning strategies and technical aspects of platform upgrades
• Work on major version upgrades and installing patches
• Utilize plug-ins for integrations and app development from Service Now application store and communities
• Drive the creation of relevant and meaningful re-usable workflows, and other deliverables that enables the overall business thus driving better performance
• Validate all new change requests & demands on the platform

Education &

Work Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 2+ years of hands-on development experience on Service Now platform overall
• 1+ years of hands-on development & configuration on the Service Now Platform
• Experience with end to end implementation of ITSM, ITOM, or HRSD module of Service Now
• Preferred Experience with in Service Now ITSM, ITOM, Virtual Agent, Employee Center
• Proven experience in understanding & capturing business requirements as features in an agile manner
• Working knowledge of Agile / Scrum development process

Certifications:

• Certified Service Now Administrator
• Certified Service Now Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD) (preferred)
• Service Now Developer Certified (preferred)

Our organization follows a hybrid work structure in our service territory (NY & MA) where employees can work remotely or from the office, as needed. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration. We work with our employees to foster a flexible work schedule.

Downstate NY $137,000 - $161,000 a year

Massachusetts $129,000 - $151,000 a year

Upstate NY $114,000 - $134,000 a year
