Motor Coach Driver – Weekly Pay Guarantee & Overtime

Trailways of New York, a family‑owned intercity bus company established in 1926, is seeking dedicated Professional Bus Drivers based in the Syracuse, NY area. As a Professional Bus Driver, you will provide excellent customer service while operating our buses on designated routes throughout New York State, into Montreal and Toronto in Canada, and Detroit, Michigan.

• Daily and Weekly Pay Guarantee
• Overtime rate of $39.75 after 40 hours
• 5‑week paid training program ($22 /hour, increasing to $33 /hour after 40 hours)

• Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience, preferably in transportation
• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with an excellent driving record
• Unrestricted Passenger endorsement (ability to transport 16+ passengers)
• Valid Passport or Enhanced CDL for travel to Canada (preferred)
• Commitment to complete a 5‑week training program (Monday‑Friday), requiring time away from home
• Commitment to work 5 or 6 days a week, including nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight trips
• Pass pre‑employment drug screen, background check, and DOT physical exam
• Love of driving and willingness to travel throughout New York State and into Canada

• Starting rate: $26.50 /hour;
  Overtime: $39.75 /hour after 40 hours/week
• Daily 8‑hour minimum pay guarantee: $212.00
• Weekly 40‑hour minimum pay guarantee: $1,060.00
• $5,000 sign‑on bonus (full‑time operators)
