The RoleAs an Accounting Clerk, you will provide day-to-day accounting and administrative support to the Finance department by ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded, verified, and processed in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. You will assist in maintaining financial records, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and supporting month-end and year-end financial activities.
Working closely with the Finance Manager and other Finance team members, you will help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information while supporting the efficient operation of the Finance department.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:Please note that the responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive. Red Sea Global Hospitality employees continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. As an Accounting Clerk, you will need to:
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Process supplier invoices, employee reimbursements, and other financial documents accurately and within established timelines.
- Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and properly approved.
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, receiving reports, and payment requests for completeness and accuracy prior to processing.
- Reconcile supplier statements, customer accounts, and general ledger accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in preparing payment schedules and supporting documentation for vendor payments.
- Maintain organized accounting files, financial records, and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities as assigned.
- Assist in bank reconciliations and ensure timely recording of cash receipts and payments.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and support the follow‑up of overdue balances when required.
- Prepare routine financial reports, reconciliations, and schedules to support management reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and assist with inventory and asset verification activities when required.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable financial regulations.
- Support internal and external audit activities by preparing documentation and responding to audit requests.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Receiving, Stores, Human Resources, and other operational departments to ensure accurate and timely financial processing.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records at all times.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of Finance operations.
- Perform any other duties required to support the efficient operation of the Finance department.
