Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field
- Basic knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and civil works
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Willingness to work on site and follow instructions
- Monitor and inspect civil works on site (excavation, concrete, back filling, finishing, roads, and infrastructure works)
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and technical specifications
- Observe the quality of materials and workmanship
- Report site observations and daily activities to the direct supervisor
- Coordinate with engineers and contractors to address site issues
- Follow approved work schedules and site instructions
- Report any non-compliance or execution issues
- Ensure compliance with site safety rules and regulations
- Attention to detail and good observation skills
