Engineer - Electrical

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in construction to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the installation of electrical systems on construction projects. This role requires a professional with excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment.

• Create detailed electrical designs and specifications for construction projects.
• Develop electrical schematics, blueprints, and layout drawings using CAD software.
• Perform electrical load calculations and design power distribution systems.
• Assist in the planning and scheduling of electrical engineering tasks and projects.
• Ensure that all electrical work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and construction teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on construction sites.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that arise during construction.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and progress reports.
• Develop and submit necessary documentation for regulatory approvals and permits.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project status to senior management and stakeholders.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures for electrical installations.
• Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines and protocols during construction activities.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections on site.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical input and support as needed.
• Address client concerns and provide technical solutions to meet their needs.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience within the construction industry.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit) and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC).
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Project management capability using tools such as MS Project.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
