Sr. Engineer - Project Control

Responsible for controlling and monitoring project costs to ensure financial performance aligns with approved budgets. The role supports the project team by tracking actual costs, reporting cost performance, managing variations, and identifying cost risks and savings opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.

• Capture all project cost in used System. materials, subcontractors, equipment, general requirements.
• Update actual cost through resource mapping after collecting all required data.
• Provide cost performance report of the project and other cost related reports as per communication plan.
• Review and approved SPR (Site Purchase Request), MIR (Material Issue Request) and petty cash as per budget.
• Review and approved subcontractor invoices and change orders.
• Capture issues concerning cost savings, cost of poor quality, wastage of resources beyond limit and discuss with Project Manager/Project Team for corrective action.
• Provide project cash out (remaining) as per cost control report.
• Provide the required cost control presentation for project progress meetings.
• Submit any update/feedback for actual resources and cost activities through lesson learned.
• Review all the Variation required by the Client and submit the required Basis of estimation calculation.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in project control or cost control within construction projects.
• Proven experience in cost reporting, variation management, and subcontractor invoice review.
• Experience working with project cost control systems and ERP platforms.
