Job Summary
The Electronics Technician will provide operation and maintenance support for the P-4 SAKITS pods for the Royal Saudi Air Force F15C/D Air Combat Maneuver & Instrumentation (ACMI) program. The role reports to the Site Manager and works closely with two Field Service Technicians, typically working independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities- Maintain logs for all P-4 SAKITS pods: serial number, pod type, date, time, remarks, and daily status/availability.
- Record monthly elapsed Time Meter readings to determine each pod's operational time.
- Operate and maintain the P-4 SAKITS Test Set following technical documentation.
- Perform O-Level and I-Level maintenance tests, replace Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs).
- Assist in operation and maintenance of display equipment.
- Perform computer operations technician duties: load programs, run subsystem tests, upload pre‑mission exercise data to the Data Transfer Device (DTD).
- Maintain control logs of DTD issue/receipt and operate graphics terminals during live exercises.
- Provide technical assistance to RSAF or aircrews for replay/debriefing and maintain mission tapes.
- Maintain a mission event log with date, time, mission/event, remarks, and operator.
- Interface directly with RSAF on mission sortie effectiveness.
- Perform additional operations duties as directed by the Site Supervisor.
- Support project equipment setup when required and collaborate with teammates.
- Previous experience in a similar electronics/avionics maintenance role.
- College qualification or equivalent technical education in a technical field; engineering degree in Electronics, Avionics, or Communications is desirable.
- English proficiency (TOEFL, STEP, or other KSA‑recognized exam) is desirable.
- Ability to comply with company standard practice for field assignments and adapt to remote/foreign environments.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 75 pounds.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Capability to work effectively under pressure, focused, conscientious, and self‑motivated.
- Must obtain or currently hold RSAF security clearance with background check.
