Senior Environment and Sustainability Manager

Responsibilities

• Strong design background in relevant discipline.
• Consultant project experience is mandatory.
• Prior experience in island remote projects preferred.
• Develop and implement comprehensive environmental and sustainability strategies aligned with business objectives driving tangible improvements in resource efficiency and waste reduction.
• Lead and manage environmental impact assessments EIAs for new projects and existing operations ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and minimizing environmental risks.
• Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of environmental performance data including greenhouse gas emissions water usage and waste generation to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies ensuring proactive communication and compliance with evolving environmental standards.

• A Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, demonstrating a strong academic foundation.
• Possession of relevant certifications, such as a Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) or a similar credential, signifies professional competence.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in environmental management, showcasing a proven track record of success.
• Prior experience within the manufacturing or energy sector is highly desirable, offering industry-specific expertise.
