Senior Project Controls Manager (Arabic Speaker) Responsibilities
- Provide support to the project team for all planning/project controls functions ensuring that issues within the programme are highlighted and understood.
- Review current reporting practices and outputs, suggest and implement improvements.
- Give appropriate planning advice and direction to project team members & all relevant stakeholders and produce programme assurance reports on our client commissions.
- Produce progress reports showing variance against the baselines.
- Deliver Period Programme Updates and input to project reports.
- Coordinate between clients and their partners’, consultants’ and contractors’ programmes of works and ensure compliance with the Project Programme; report areas of non‑compliance for resolution.
- As appropriate and required, provide planning support to the bidding team to do all activities necessary to submit the bidding documentation in time.
- A minimum of 15 years’ postgraduate experience at a senior level, preferably including experience in the Gulf region and having worked on the client side.
- A demonstrated successful track record of leading the project controls function of a large organisation involved with the design and construction of real‑estate projects.
- Current and detailed knowledge of various scheduling, cost, collaboration and other IT applications relevant to project controls, including MS Word, Excel, Access, Project and Primavera P6.
- A successful track record of developing good relationships and networks within a large organisation and with external agencies.
- Able to represent the client with internal departments and external organisations in a professional and authoritative manner.
- Must have excellent skills in preparing reports, drafting letters and making presentations to senior management and senior representatives of stakeholder organisations.
- University degree from a recognised university in a relevant field such as engineering, project management or programme management.
- Must have excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken; and a driver’s licence.
- Be professionally qualified as PMP or equivalent.
- Highly desirable to have experience in a similar role in KSA and/or the Gulf region.
