Parsons is seeking an experienced, hands on Civil Engineer to support the design validation, site execution, and quality assurance of large scale infrastructure assets in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia
. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing grading, earthworks, roads, and utilities, ensuring that heavy civil construction aligns perfectly with project master plans, strict design tolerances, and international engineering standards.
- Site Supervision & Quality Control:
Oversee day to day heavy civil construction activities, including bulk earthworks, deep grading, road networks, and wet/dry utility installations, ensuring strict adherence to approved drawings and specifications. - Design Validation:
Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for structural and civil works, flagging constructability issues or design clashes early to avoid field delays. - Inspections & Sign offs:
Conduct site inspections, witness compaction testing, and review concrete pouring preparations, authorizing structural and civil stage sign offs alongside client representatives. - Progress & Variance Tracking:
Monitor contractor performance against the baseline schedule, verifying quantities of materials installed and reporting accurate field progress to the Resident Engineer. - Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):
Enforce rigid site safety and environmental guidelines, ensuring contractors maintain proper excavation safety, dust control, and logistical order in a demanding desert environment.
- Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of direct experience in civil engineering, with a solid background in mass earthworks, road networks, or large scale site development. - Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is highly preferred. - Technical Expertise:
Comprehensive understanding of international civil engineering standards (e.g., ASTM, AASHTO, ACI codes). Proficiency in interpreting grading plans, utility profiles, and geotechnical reports.
- Location/Adaptability:
Must be willing to relocate to and work full time in the Tabuk region. Direct experience navigating the unique soil and logistical conditions of KSA giga projects (such as NEOM, Trojena, or Red Sea Global) is heavily preferred. - Communication:
Strong technical English communication skills (written and verbal) are mandatory to interface effectively with contractors, surveyors, and project managers.
