Senior Electrical Engineer – Infrastructure in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, is an engineering hiring opportunity for an experienced technical leader with a strong background in power distribution, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, and low‑current systems. The role supports major infrastructure and building projects by leading electrical design reviews, coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces, supervising construction quality, and ensuring compliance with international codes and Saudi regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the electrical engineering scope for major infrastructure and building projects.
- Direct the design and review of medium‑voltage and low‑voltage power distribution systems.
- Review lighting systems, emergency lighting, grounding, bonding, and lightning protection designs.
- Oversee low‑current systems and coordinate their interfaces with other building and infrastructure services.
- Prepare or review load schedules, single‑line diagrams, cable sizing calculations, voltage drop studies, and short‑circuit assessments.
- Use ETAP and other engineering tools to evaluate power system performance and protection requirements.
- Review electrical drawings, technical calculations, specifications, design reports, and schedules.
- Confirm design compliance with IEC, NEC, IEEE, Saudi Building Code, and project‑specific requirements.
- Assess contractor material submittals, equipment data, shop drawings, and method statements.
- Verify that proposed electrical products meet approved specifications and performance criteria.
- Provide clear technical comments and track contractor responses through formal review cycles.
- Resolve design conflicts involving electrical, mechanical, civil, structural, and architectural systems.
- Coordinate space requirements, equipment locations, access, containment routes, and utility connections.
- Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews, coordination meetings, and technical workshops.
- Advise project management on electrical risks, design changes, constructability concerns, and technical priorities.
- Interface with clients and senior stakeholders to explain design options and recommended solutions.
- Coordinate with utility authorities and regulatory bodies to support technical approvals.
- Prepare technical presentations, reports, recommendations, and decision papers.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Review installed equipment, cabling, panels, lighting, earthing, and containment systems.
- Identify non‑conforming work and recommend corrective actions.
- Support technical audits, quality reviews, and construction progress assessments.
- Review inspection requests, testing procedures, commissioning plans, and system acceptance records.
- Assist with resolving site queries, requests for information, and field engineering issues.
- Verify that electrical changes are properly evaluated, documented, and approved.
- Mentor junior and mid‑level electrical engineers.
- Review team deliverables for accuracy, completeness, coordination, and technical quality.
- Share technical knowledge and promote consistent engineering practices.
- Support project planning by identifying design dependencies and required technical inputs.
- Maintain accurate engineering records, design review logs, and approval documentation.

- Perform additional electrical engineering duties assigned by project leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 12 years of progressive electrical engineering experience.
- Proven experience leading electrical scopes on large infrastructure, building, or mega‑project developments.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is advantageous.
- Professional Engineer or Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable.
