Parsons Corporation is hiring a motivated graduate engineer to support multidisciplinary infrastructure projects while developing professional skills under the supervision of experienced engineering specialists.
The Associate Civil Engineer will complete supervised engineering assignments using fundamental civil engineering principles, calculations, and analytical methods. The position is structured to help an early‑career engineer understand Parsons procedures, technical standards, project workflows, and multidisciplinary coordination requirements. Assignments may include rotational exposure to civil design, construction management, procurement, and project controls, and may also involve work with computer‑aided engineering, CAD applications, technical documentation, site activities, and coordination with clients, suppliers, and construction teams.
Key Responsibilities- Perform basic civil engineering calculations, analyses, and technical assignments under close supervision.
- Apply established engineering theories, methods, standards, and procedures to assigned project tasks.
- Assist with the preparation of civil drawings, technical reports, design documents, calculations, and supporting records.
- Use CAD and computer‑aided engineering applications to support infrastructure design and documentation.
- Learn Parsons Corporation procedures for engineering delivery, quality control, document management, and project coordination.
- Support senior engineers in reviewing project data, specifications, drawings, and construction requirements.
- Participate in structured development assignments across engineering, project controls, procurement, and construction management.
- Coordinate routine technical information with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
- Help monitor assigned activities to ensure alignment with approved designs, project requirements, and applicable standards.
- Maintain organized records of calculations, design updates, technical correspondence, and completed work.
- Assist with site visits, inspections, supplier coordination, and construction‑related assignments when required.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, colleagues, clients, contractors, and suppliers in Arabic and English.
- Travel or temporarily relocate to client offices, supplier facilities, or construction sites based on project needs.
- Participate in technical training, mentoring sessions, and professional development activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering field.
- Saudi National.
- Fresh graduate or applicant with 0 or more years of relevant engineering experience.
- Basic knowledge of civil engineering theories, calculations, design methods, and construction practices.
- General understanding of civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering coordination.
- Familiarity with CAD software and standard computer applications used in engineering projects.
- Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and engineering documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Willingness to learn within a closely supervised professional development environment.
- Good analytical thinking, organization, accuracy, and problem‑solving ability.
