Hotel Manager
As Hotel Manager you will provide leadership direction to the hotel by maximizing financial returns, developing people, creating and maintaining memorable guest experiences, executing brand standards, and building awareness of the hotel's brand in the local community. You may act as the General Manager in his/her absence.
- People
Direct everyday activities, plan and assign work ensuring appropriate staffing levels. Develop your team by coaching, providing feedback, and setting performance goals. Train colleagues to meet standards and equip them for efficient work. Recommend or initiate HR actions as needed. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other shifts and departmental management.
- Guest Experience
Interact with guests and external contacts-including current and potential clients, government officials, travel industry representatives, suppliers, competitors, and community members-to ensure the hotel delivers the highest level of guest satisfaction through superb services and amenities.
- Responsible Business
Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members, and hotel assets in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain relationships with external contacts. Act as a public relations representative to raise brand awareness in the local community. Drive team involvement in community organizations, activities, and businesses. Develop and implement action plans to reduce the hotel's carbon footprint.
- Financial
Collaborate with the General Manager in developing, implementing, and monitoring financial and operational plans to maximize guest satisfaction, sales potential, and profitability. Advise on capital improvements to enhance the hotel's assets and brand loyalty.
- Other
Perform additional duties as assigned and serve as manager on duty when required.
- Candidates with 3 or more years of hotel management operations experience.
- A bachelor's degree or certificate in hospitality management or a related field.
- Experience in city or beach hotels is preferred.
- Proficiency in English for communication.
