Sales Manager - Six Senses Southern Dunes role at IHG Hotels & Resorts. Operational ownership: manage the efficient operation of the department to provide exceptional products and services within Six Senses brand operating standards and budget. Work strategically with the Director of Sales & Marketing to develop cohesive and productive goals for the department and establish procedures to achieve them. Maintain consistency with the Company's vision, quality standards and develop concepts aligned with brand identity.
Responsibilities- Exceed personal sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Solicit groups, transient, and/or banquet business through action plan preparation and execution.
- Independently responsible for achieving objectives outlined in the action plans.
- Determine and recommend prospective customers from market information and resources.
- Quote and negotiate prices within established parameters, confirmed by written contracts.
- Support team goals and revenue-producing activities and find ways to implement them.
- Participate in sales calls, business trips, trade shows, conventions, and promotional events within the hotel and related organizations.
- Maintain positive relationships with guests, vendors, and colleagues.
- Maintain account, contact, activity, and business details within Opera S&C according to Six Senses standards.
- Coordinate and follow up with other hotel departments to ensure delivery of the hotel's promised services upon closing.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, as required.
- Respond to incoming business opportunities for the hotel within 24 hours.
- Assist with the compilation of competitive intelligence information as directed.
- Attend all sales meetings, as required.
- Mentor and coach support colleagues as applicable and participate in prescribed sales training.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and practices to improve the product and service offering.
- Review and adjust processes to remain relevant, innovative, and aligned with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
- Support and review services, products and rates to remain relevant and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
- Lead a team of hosts to provide Six Senses exceptional standards of operation and service.
