Associate Director - Commercial Management

This project offers the chance to join a talented Mace team in delivering a major entertainment and luxury hospitality project, collaborating with renowned architects and global consultants. The project involves extensive infrastructure and built assets, delivered rapidly through a hands on Construction Management approach, ideal for those experienced in managing both main and sub-contract packages.

• Provides commercial leadership for specific areas of work and direction to team members.
• Hands on end to end commercial role, from onboarding contractors to site to leading contract administration, execution and commercial management.
• Manages a commercial team to achieve commercial KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversees cost control, valuations and monthly post contract reporting.
• Handles post contract management, package management and commercial performance.
• Evaluates claims, delays, and additional costs from contractors and subcontractors.
• Directly interacts with clients, contractors and subcontractors to ensure delivery.
• Supports net zero carbon transition and process improvements throughout project delivery.
• Apply expertise in FIDIC contracts and payment mechanisms for post contract management.

• Degree in quantity surveying / commercial management (or equivalent).
• Professional membership i.e. MRICS (or equivalent).
• Major project experience is essential.
• Main Contractor experience £250+.
• Consultancy experience £1bn+.
