General Manager

We are seeking a highly accomplished General Manager – Finishing Fit-Out with a proven track record of delivering mega-scale luxury projects across the GCC and MENA region
. The ideal candidate will bring 30+ years of experience managing complex finishing fit-out works for luxury hotels, high-rise towers, and premium developments
, with the majority of their career spent working on the contractor side
. This role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and technical expertise to oversee operations, execution, and strategic growth.

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for finishing fit-out operations across multiple large-scale projects.
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of luxury fit-out works, ensuring compliance with design intent, quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
• Oversee project teams
  , including project directors, construction managers, engineers, and commercial teams.
• Drive operational excellence
  , productivity, and best practices across site and head-office functions.
• Manage client relationships
  , consultants, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and repeat business.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE, quality assurance, and regulatory standards applicable in the GCC/MENA region.
• Lead commercial strategy
  , including cost control, value engineering, claims management, and contract administration.
• Support business development efforts by contributing to tenders, pre-contract strategy, and technical proposals.
• Mentor senior managers and develop succession planning within the organization.
• Report to executive leadership on performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.

• Minimum 30 years of professional experience in finishing fit-out works.
• Extensive experience delivering mega and luxury projects such as:
  • Five-star and ultra-luxury hotels
  • High-rise towers and mixed-use developments
  • Luxury residential and commercial properties
• Proven GCC or MENA experience with deep understanding of regional construction practices, contracts, and regulations.
• Civil Engineering or Architecture degree (mandatory).
• Majority of career experience must be on the contractor side
  , preferably with Tier-1 or reputable fit-out contractors.
• Strong expertise in contract management, commercial controls, and project execution
  .
• Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage high-value, fast-track, and complex projects simultaneously.
