Responsibilities- Develop and implement QA/QC policies, procedures, and plans for data center construction projects.
- Establish quality control systems, standards, and specifications to ensure the highest level of compliance.
- Perform regular inspections, audits, and tests to ensure quality benchmarks are being met.
- Support commissioning process and integrated systems testing (IST) with quality oversight.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations (ISO, ASHRAE, etc.).
- Oversee all project documentation, including ITPs (Inspection Test Plans) inspection reports, checklists, material tests, and quality records/logs.
- Review and approve project deliverables (related to quality control and quality assurance) to ensure they meet the established quality criteria.
- Periodically report on quality metrics and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- QA/QC certification (e.g., ISO 9001, ASQ, etc.) is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in QA/QC roles, with at least 3 years in the data center industry or critical infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing quality on large-scale construction projects, including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent understanding of data center infrastructure, including MEP systems, cooling, and electrical distribution.
- Ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
