Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant manages all aspects of inventory management to help prepare accurate reports on costs and is responsible for managing inventory, reconciling discrepancies, analyzing material costs, and ensuring accurate financial reporting related to assets.

• Reconcile details of all purchases with the contractual terms, invoices receiving notes.
• Compare physical inventory with system records, identify and explain discrepancies.
• Review shipments against requisitions and assess for validity, completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare materials accounting and analysis statements.
• Maintain consistent relationships with vendors.
• Conduct system accounting, comparing purchase orders against contractual terms.
• Carry out inventory checks, identifying inconsistencies and investigating remedies.
• Monitor inventory status and timely reporting of overstocked materials.
• Maintain the financial information of fixed assets.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar work experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Familiarity with Viewpoint Spectrum and HCSS Heavy Job preferred.

Base salary of up to $70,000.
