We are seeking a Temporary Office Support Specialist to join our mission-driven organization dedicated to serving the community. This role is open as a temporary role to expedite support swiftly to service our administrative office and 19 library branches.

Compensation

Pierce County Library System offers a compensation program which recognizes qualifications and experience relevant to each position. The starting pay is established typically within the hiring range below based upon the experience of the individual hired into the role. Our compensation package also includes annual increases for each additional year of experience and tenure in the role, up to the maximum (current year maximum outlined in pay grade range below).

Eligibility for overtime is exclusive to positions which are FLSA status non-exempt below.

Position Summary

Performs moderately complex clerical and technical functions requiring some judgment in solving problems and making recommendations. Duties include preparing correspondence, communications, and reports; creating and maintaining records, including moderate to complex databases, and systems which may include electronic or physical records; assists with program materials coordination, and performs other related duties as assigned. May be assigned to support specific programs, projects, or individuals internally and/or external to the organization.

This is an experienced clerical position.
