Position Summary:
Responsible for tracking and safeguarding PTOI’s physical assets through regular audits and accurate recordkeeping in the asset management system (WASP). Works with all departments to maintain detailed asset data, add new assets, and remove or transfer assets as needed. Also serves as backup for Shipping & Receiving Clerk.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
Associate’s degree in a related field and six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Intermediate computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets (Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer).
Note:
Part-time work is prorated in crediting experience (e.g., if you work 20 hours per week for a 12-month period you will be credited with 6 months of experience).
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. The majority of contacts are within the Tribal community although some may be external to the Tribe.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Work assignments involves some creative thinking or development of processes or procedures.
Licenses or Certificates
Must have a valid and unrestricted Washington State Driver’s License. Driver’s License must not contain any restrictions that would otherwise prevent an employee from driving a GSA vehicle.
Must submit to and be able to pass a criminal background check prior to employment and periodically throughout employment.
