Job Overview

Foresight Construction LLC is seeking two experienced Traveling Asphalt Foreman to lead field crews on commercial and industrial asphalt paving projects. The Foreman will oversee daily operations, ensure quality workmanship, maintain safety standards, and deliver projects on time and within budget. This role requires hands‑on leadership, deep experience across all crew levels, and the ability to manage parking lot paving projects (not just DOT work).

Key Responsibilities
  • Rake, shovel, and assist with the placement and finishing of asphalt.
  • Support roller and paving equipment operators to ensure smooth, consistent mat quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety on the jobsite.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment and work areas.
  • Work effectively with the paving crew to maintain productivity and efficiency.
  • Perform other general labor duties as needed to support project completion.
  • Travel to project sites with company‑covered per diem and hotel accommodations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working on a paving crew preferred.
  • Open to candidates with less experience if they demonstrate strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with raking, shoveling, and paving crew operations.
  • Strong physical stamina for outdoor, hands‑on labor in varying weather conditions.
  • Team‑oriented with good communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Schedule
