Position Summary
The Childbirth Educator Program Coordinator is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the regional Multi Care Childbirth Education Program.
Essential Responsibilities- Act as main contact and lead the program, demonstrating MHS values and mission.
- Ensure standards are implemented, services are evidence‑based and meet population needs.
- Provide necessary support to the team and patients/students to ensure a smooth program, coordinating schedules, marketing, distribution of supplies, and connecting patients with appropriate providers.
- Function as a Childbirth Educator, providing education to patients, families, and support systems.
- High school graduate required.
- Current certification in Childbirth Education or graduate of a Childbirth Education program, or specific area of expertise (e.g., infant CPR instructor, IBCLC for breastfeeding class, baby wearing instructor, infant massage instructor, fathering instruction). Exceptions: CPR instructor and Dad’s Bootcamp instructor.
- Current Washington State Driver’s License with a safe driving record.
