Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is a leading power engineering consulting firm that provides engineering, system planning, technical consultation, project management and construction services to electric utilities, energy developers and industrials across the United States. We are seeking an experienced Protection Engineer to join our team.

• Develop power system protection services, including system model development, short circuit analysis, relay settings, area coordination studies and standards development.
• Conduct relay operation analysis and provide technical reviews of drawings and relay settings.
• Mentor less experienced engineers through direct training and technical review of work.

• BSEE or equivalent degree.
• 5+ years of protection engineering experience.
• Experience with SEL relay settings.
• Knowledge of ASPEN One Liner or PSSE CAPE.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization, planning, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to meet fast‑paced project schedules.
• P.E. license preferred.

$107,000 – $120,000 annually (salary commensurate with experience).
