Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and manage projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, managing expectations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate efforts of cross‑functional teams, including sales, engineering, purchasing, and production, to meet project objectives.
  • Oversee project risk management, contract changes, subcontracted vendors, and financial aspects, including payments and change orders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide technical leadership, sub‑vendor management, and on‑site project management support during engineering, installation, startup, and commissioning as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering leaders and provide basic levels of project engineering support, particularly with sub vendors, during heavy design phases of projects.
  • Lead and mentor project team members, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field required.
  • Over 3 years of experience in project management within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial equipment automation strongly preferred.
  • Experience with capital projects, plant builds, OEM manufacturing, or large‑scale industrial implementations required.
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, decision‑making and verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar) required.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and collaboration tools like Teams, SharePoint, etc. Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) preferred.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and motion control components preferred.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, and electrical schematics preferred.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
  • Familiarity with contract negotiation and vendor management strongly encouraged.
  • Successful experience in customer relationship management and project financial oversight preferred.
