Civil Engineer

Location: Tacoma, WA. Onsite to start; opportunity for hybrid in the future.

Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 + Bonus

Hours: M-F, 8am-5pm

LHH Recruitment is partnering with a respected engineering consulting firm seeking a Civil Engineer to support a diverse portfolio of land development and infrastructure projects throughout the Pacific Northwest.

• Prepare civil engineering designs, plans, calculations, and specifications for a large variety of site development projects.
• Design grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, water, and sanitary sewer systems.
• Collaborate with clients, municipalities, consultants, surveyors, and internal project teams.
• Support projects from initial concept through permitting, design, and construction.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software to develop engineering solutions.
• Coordinate multiple projects while maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Contribute to project meetings, technical reviews, and client communications.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• EIT certification is highly preferred
• 3+ years of civil engineering experience focused ideally on site development or land development projects
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or a similar system
• Experience performing stormwater analysis and modeling is highly preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service
