This multi-orbit constellation will consist of optically interconnected satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) and medium Earth orbit (MEO), providing enterprise-grade connectivity for critical operations worldwide.

You will develop, maintain, and submit for release engineering drawings, systems designs, and engineering documentation by applying company, industry, and governmental standards. Utilizing PTC Creo Parametric 12 and Windchill PLM.

You will create and maintain 3D parametric models, 2D drawings, and Model-Based Definition (MBD) datasets.

This role supports engineering system design across mechanical, structural and electrical disciplines.

In this role, you will design and maintain component product definitions/data, including preparing layouts, modifying existing designs, and resolving modeling discrepancies.

Using Model Based Definition, you will build models and drawings while applying company and industry techniques to maintain engineering design data.

You will also provide guidance on schedule and technical requirements to internal customers.

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace development or similar industry
• Proficiency in design and integration using Creo Parametric
• Proficiency in drawing generation, checking, and release processes
• Experience in Windchill
• Proficiency in Model Based Definition
• Proficiency in standard fits, tolerance stacks, and GD&T analysis (ASME Y14.5)
• Experience selecting standard aerospace hardware, fasteners, bushings, washers
• Experience working in a cross-functional team responsible for selecting materials, manufacturing processes, and developing the design to produce world-class engineered products
• Excellent attention to detail and task ownership, someone who demonstrates pride in all work and willingness to perform low-level tasks when needed
• Experience managing large CAD assemblies and associated drawings
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

8+ years or experience in aerospace development (launch vehicle or aircraft)

Base Pay Range for: CA applicants is $39.34 - $55.07 VA applicants is $39.34 - $55.07 WA applicants is $39.34 - $55.07 Other site ranges may differ
