Base pay will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. The role is eligible for team‑based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits‑eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program. Veterans, transitioning active‑duty military personnel and military spouses are encouraged to apply. Brookdale offers to advance fees for naturalization (Form N‑400) application costs—up to $725, minus applicable taxes and withholding—for qualified associates who have been with us for at least a year.

- Maintain a secure environment for all residents and associates within the building and on community grounds.
- Greets visitors, monitors the inside and outside of the building and responds to emergencies.
- Greets and monitors visitors and residents coming and going; logs all residents and visitors.
- Monitors the interior, exterior and parking lot; reports abnormal findings to the Executive Director or appropriate authorities.
- Locks doors at designated times, following community protocol; checks all doors throughout the night.
- Familiarizes with and monitors all emergency and safety equipment, including security cameras, phones and life‑safety systems.
- Responds to emergencies per protocol; assists with disaster management and evacuations (fires, hurricanes, etc.).
- Answers the phone promptly; directs calls or takes messages as appropriate.
- Escorts residents and visitors to the parking lot during evening hours on request.
- Handles leasing inquiries after hours and on weekends, ensuring accurate information for the Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Drives the community vehicle or bus as needed or scheduled.
- Handles minor maintenance emergencies (plugged toilets, reset breakers, replacement of light bulbs, etc.).
- Maintains a clean and neat lobby and administrative offices; notifies housekeeping when cleaning is needed.
- Interacts with residents and guests in a friendly, courteous manner, providing assistance and directions as requested.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required; one to three months related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements: Fire Safety and Basic CPR/First Aid training. A valid driver’s license is required for positions involving travel between locations or transportation of residents.
Management / Decision Making: Makes standard and routine decisions based on detailed guidelines with little independent judgment. Problems are generally solved with clear, detailed guidelines or reported to a supervisor.
