Overview

This full‑time in‑office employment opportunity for the Sound Federal Credit Union would allow you to support Financial Advisors associated with LPL Financial under our Employee Advisor Model. It is an excellent stepping‑stone to continue building on your wealth management experience and opportunities to work with multiple internal departments at a growing company.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate daily with advisors and clients, taking ownership of inquiries and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Handle account requests such as transactions, maintenance, and transfers, and provide education on services and technology.
  • Manage onboarding, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Monitor account activities, support audits, and assist with projects to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, preparing materials, and maintaining client information.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of financial industry experience, preferably in wealth management.
  • 1+ years in client service with excellent communication skills.
  • Some travel to local branches required.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication; able to explain complex information clearly and simply.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build and foster relationships with clients, coworkers, and internal/external partners.
  • Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Self‑motivated, driven, and takes initiative.
Preferences
  • Desire to obtain industry licenses (i.e., SIE, Series 7 and 66).
  • Experience with the Microsoft program suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Pay Range

$22.82–$38.04 per hour. Actual base salary varies based on factors including relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. LPL Total Rewards package is highly competitive and includes 401(k) matching, health benefits, employee stock options, paid time off (up to 16 days) plus eleven paid holidays, volunteer time off, and more. This role is also eligible for LPL’s discretionary bonus.
