Senior Accountant

We are partnered with an aerospace company that is looking for a Senior Accountant. The position is on-site.

• The position is on-site and the comp range is 90‑110k + bonus.

• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of the general ledger with company policies and GAAP
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
• Lead the month‑end and year‑end closing process, including financial statement preparation
• Generate daily, monthly, and ad‑hoc financial reports and analyses as needed
• Evaluate and approve Cap Ex requests while maintaining the fixed asset sub‑ledger
• Analyze and allocate manufacturing costs, establish cost standards, and review variances
• Oversee payroll accuracy, including timesheet reconciliation
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring proper reserves and accuracy
• Maintain accurate inventory valuation and record all inventory transactions correctly
• Verify the accuracy of monthly COGS calculations
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure accurate BOMs and routing for finished goods
• Work with the commercial team to analyze and report customer and product profitability
• Partner with all departments to support forecasting and budget adherence
• Lead the inventory cycle count program and report results
• Oversee monthly and quarterly tax filings, business licenses, and property tax compliance
• Maintain intercompany transactions and prepare related reconciliations
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
• Support external audits and regulatory reviews by providing necessary documentation
• Provide financial support for budgets, special projects, and issue resolution

Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy

• 3+ years of experience
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
• CPA / CMA a plus
• Cost accounting or manufacturing experience required
