Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to own full-cycle HR operations. This high-impact, on-site leadership role is central to building a strong workplace culture and ensuring compliance within an employee-first environment. Reporting to the HR Director and partnering closely with the General Manager, this role serves as the primary HR leader on-site—providing hands-on, bilingual (English/Spanish) support and maintaining a visible presence on the production floor.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary on-site HR leader, overseeing daily HR operations
- Own full-cycle HR functions including employee relations, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, training, leaves, workers’ compensation, and reporting
- Partner with the HR Director to execute HR strategy and collaborate daily with the General Manager and plant leadership
- Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) HR support and maintain a visible presence on the production floor
- Lead employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective action, and manager coaching
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, new hire orientation, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Partner on safety initiatives, audits, and incident investigations; ensure compliance with OSHA, WA L&I, labor, and food safety regulations
- Administer PFML, FMLA, ADA processes, and workers’ compensation programs
- Maintain accurate HRIS data, personnel files, I-9 compliance, and required postings
- Prepare HR reports and support payroll through timely, accurate submissions
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
- Bilingual/Biliterate in English and Spanish
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in manufacturing, food processing, or production environments
- Strong working knowledge of Washington State labor laws, OSHA, and HR compliance
- Demonstrated strength in employee relations, coaching, and conflict resolution
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms, ADP, and Microsoft Office
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment
