Family Law Attorney

Role Description

• This is a full-time hybrid Family Law Attorney role based in Tacoma, WA, serving Thurston and Pierce counties, with the flexibility to work remotely for part of the time. The attorney will manage a caseload of family law matters, provide legal advice, draft legal documents, and represent clients in court and during settlement discussions.
• Responsibilities include in-depth legal research, preparing motions, conducting depositions, and collaborating with clients to develop effective legal strategies. The position also involves maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring ethical and professional representation in all legal matters.

• Strong expertise in Family Law and related legal areas
• Proficiency in analyzing legal issues, including the ability to handle sensitive family law matters
• Experience drafting legal documents such as Motions and handling Depositions
• Ability to manage a caseload, work independently, and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated advocacy, negotiation, and litigation skills
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and a license to practice law in Washington State
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• A client‑focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in family law or a related legal field is highly preferred
• Willing and able to take both Thurston & Pierce county cases
