Position: [Commercial HVAC] Construction Project Manager
Our client, a reputable company in the Commercial HVAC industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing relationships with customers, overseeing project details, and maintaining a high standard of work quality.

Project Manager Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers through regular contact.
  • Prepare and submit weekly timesheets for jobsite visits and project management activities.
  • Oversee proposal details, particularly in defining the scope of work not included.
  • Contact vendors and subcontractors to verify pricing for projects.
  • Review customer contract for accuracy before forwarding to the President for signature.
  • Maintain awareness of the escalation of materials and/or labor costs.
  • Provide schedules and manpower estimates to Engineering and Production groups.
  • Issue subcontracts for any work not performed by the company.
  • Prepare and provide monthly progress billings.
  • Assure that issues impacting the project or customer are properly documented.
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly staff and sales meetings.
  • Stay updated on current building construction and energy codes.
Qualifications
  • Five or more years of related work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage details and meet deadlines in a multi-task environment
  • Customer service-oriented approach, with a sense of urgency in responding to requests
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to identify and resolve or escalate issues appropriately
  • Strong people skills and ability to think out of the box
  • High degree of honesty, ethics, and integrity
  • Able to operate personal computer, calculator, and other office machines
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Able to work sitting or standing and to move freely throughout the facility
  • Frequent travel required
  • Valid Driver's License
