Permanent Lead Tool Maker
Base salary: $65,000 – $104,000 per year.

We are looking for an experienced Tool Maker who is passionate about precision, eager to solve complex problems, and ready to lead a dynamic team.
Responsibilities- Leading and overseeing the day‑to‑day operation of the tool‑making department.
- Designing and creating custom tools using Solid Works and Mastercam.
- Collaborating with the engineering team to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Conducting quality control checks to ensure tools meet or exceed industry standards.
- Training and mentoring junior tool makers, sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Continuously researching and implementing new tool‑making techniques to improve efficiency and quality.
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to tool design and production.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Performing preventative maintenance on tooling equipment and machinery.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tool Maker in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Solid Works and Mastercam or equivalent software.
- Extensive knowledge of tool‑making techniques, machinery, and equipment.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to train and mentor others.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- A degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
