HVAC Shop Sheet Metal Fabricator

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled HVAC Shop Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team in Tacoma. $24.00 - $34.00 per hour Compensation is based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

• Operating sheet metal fabrication equipment and tools
• Fabricating ductwork, fittings, and specialty materials
• Understanding and utilizing TDC duct-forming processes
• Installing dampers, turning vanes, vane rail, and sound liner
• Assembling ward flange systems and corners into finished products
• Fabricating shop stock including cleats, angles, flashing, straps, and curb materials
• Maintaining quality control standards on fabricated materials
• Monitoring shop inventory and reporting material needs
  
  Assisting with equipment maintenance and shop housekeeping
• Following all company safety policies and procedures
• Maintaining dependable attendance and punctuality

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of sheet metal fabrication experience in the construction industry
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or night shifts as business needs require
• Commitment to safe work practices and professional conduct

• This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, lifting, twisting, and handling materials throughout the workday. Candidates must be able to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds with assistance when needed.
