General Labor – Woodworking / Sample Preparation
Location: Tacoma, WA 98466
Pay: $19.00/hr
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: Through the end of January
About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented team member with woodworking experience to help prepare test samples. In this role, you’ll measure and cut materials to specific sample sizes using a variety of woodworking tools. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in precision.
What You’ll Do
You’ll prepare test samples by measuring and cutting materials to required sizes, operate conventional woodworking equipment such as table saws, radial arm saws, and band saws, and help keep the work area safe and organized.
What We’re Looking For
Ideally, you’ll have 3+ years of experience working with measuring tapes and woodworking tools, along with a strong commitment to safe work practices. The role involves regularly lifting up to 50 lbs, so you should be comfortable with physical work throughout the day.
