The Coffee Oasis is a Christian non-profit organization that exists to create pathways of opportunity for youth to be restored in heart, soul, mind, and body. We believe youth are the future of our community, but many are hurting, homeless, and hindered from living their full potential. The Coffee Oasis youth programs offer a place for the community to invest in their future-the youth.

We do this through creating safe shared spaces, mentorship, street and school outreach, goal setting, job training, shelter, and crisis services. The only way for our mission to succeed is through the support of the entire community-intentional inter-generational and cross-cultural investment. We accomplish this mission through a sustainable and successful coffee business. The cafés offer a "third place" for the community to gather and buy products with the added value of all profits returning to create opportunities for youth.

As a Full Time Community Development Officer at The Coffee Oasis, your primary focus will be on cultivating and maintaining relationships with churches, civic clubs, and businesses across Pierce County. You will:

• Maintain and develop relationships with businesses, civic clubs and churches throughout Pierce County in partnership with the Community Development Manager.
• Maintain a portfolio of contacts and meet with required monthly contacts.
• Speaking at local church services, small groups, civic clubs, etc.
• Use customer relationship management (CRM) system to set up and update campaigns, emails, forms, constituent portals, and mailing lists.
• Work with the Creative Communications Department for stories/interviews and relay them to churches/civic clubs.
• Help plan and implement events and fundraisers with churches/civic clubs and Coffee Oasis, including the annual Coffee & Corks fundraiser.
• Timely interaction with donors (via email/phone call) for donations as they come in.
• Find creative ways to help develop church relationships based on the needs/campaign asks.
• Performs additional duties as required to support the organization's goals.

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• Have professional fundraising experience (preferred).
