School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Tacoma, Washington

A healthcare professional is needed to provide nursing support within a K‑12 educational setting in Tacoma, WA. This position offers an opportunity to deliver medical care and health education in a dynamic school environment throughout the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis.

• Provide nursing care and health assessments to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Manage and administer medications, treatments, and health plans in compliance with state regulations.
• Collaborate with educators and staff to promote student wellness and safety.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and maintain accurate health records.
• Educate students and staff on health and wellness topics relevant to the school community.

• Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) with school health experience.
• Knowledge of school health policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and school personnel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced educational environment.
