Medical Solutions auto-deducts 1.75%—you may add it back into the pay package. Unit Overview Departments: 6 Med/Surg units – all telemetry-equipped 7th Floor:
Surgical (abdominal, trauma, Whipple) – 36 beds 8BC:
Long-term, low-acuity (placement/antibiotic therapy) – 17 beds 9th Floor:
General medical (chronic/acute) – 38 beds 2 South:
Short stay, cardiac, COVID – 41 beds 3 South:
Neuro – 33 beds 4 South:
Ortho/Spine – 21 beds Alternate Units: 10th Floor Med Surg Oncology, ER Transition Unit (overflow/holding) Float Requirement:
Float across all Med/Surg units as needed. May also assist as CNA or entrance screener (same as core staff). Job Details

Experience:

Minimum 2 years acute care required

Certifications:

BLS required Ratios: 1:4–5 CNA Support: 1 CNA per 8–11 patients RT Equipment: CPAP, BiPAP, trachs (no vents) Telemetry:
Central monitoring by tele techs; RNs verify strips Charge Nurse:
Present on each unit | House Supervisor (11a–7a) Drips / Titration Common drips:
Insulin, Heparin, Nitro (≤30 mcg), Dobutamine (≤5 mcg), Dopamine (≤5 mcg), Cardizem (≤30 mcg for pre-existing users only) Drips titrated per med/surg guidelines; transfer to ICU if max reached Schedule

Shifts:

12-hour shifts, full-time Weekends:
Every other Holidays: 1–2 winter holidays Call/Standby:
Up to 4 per contract Orientation: 4 hours per core unit (7th, 8BC, 9th, 2 South, 3 South, 4 South)
