Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (OB/GYN)

Kennewick, WA | Acute Care / Birth Center

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting within a Birth Center unit handling approximately 110 deliveries per month
• Monitor and assess laboring patients in accordance with AWHONN patient ratio guidelines
• Perform fetal monitoring and respond appropriately to maternal and fetal status changes
• Float as needed to the Mother/Baby unit to support staffing continuity
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, high-quality obstetric care for adult patients
• Document patient care accurately using Centricity and Paragon EHR systems

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute Labor & Delivery experience
• Required certifications:
  Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, BLS, and NRP
• Ability and willingness to float to Mother/Baby unit as needed
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

• Experience with OR circulation in an OB setting
• Background in Mother/Baby and/or OB triage
• Familiarity with Centricity and/or Paragon EHR platforms
• Strong flexibility and communication skills with the ability to adapt in a dynamic birth center environment

• Work in a full-service teaching hospital located in southeastern Washington's scenic Tri-Cities region, offering access to outdoor recreation, wine country, and convenient regional travel connections
• Join a well-established Birth Center with a consistent delivery volume and a supportive, multidisciplinary care team
