Job Overview
Summit Veterinary Referral Center in Tacoma, Washington seeks a Veterinary Anesthesiologist to build and shape a high-quality anesthesia program within our collaborative specialty hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Build and develop a robust anesthesia program.
- Teach and elevate Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs).
- Support LVTs in pursuing their Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) in Anesthesia and Analgesia.
- Aid in establishing an anesthesia service alongside other specialists.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, surgeons, neurologists, internists, oncologists, critical care, radiology, and nutrition specialists.
- Endoscopic equipment
- Fluoroscopy suite
- MRI
- CT
- Ultrasound
- Digital radiography
- Routine balloon valvuloplasty
- Patent ductus arteriosus occlusion
- Transvenous pacemakers
