  • Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour based on experience

What Our Veterinary Assistants Bring

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant in a clinical setting
  • A caring, empathetic approach toward pets and their families
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliability, professionalism, and a friendly attitude
  • Basic computer proficiency; experience with Avi Mark or similar veterinary software is a plus
  • A collaborative spirit and genuine passion for veterinary care

  • Commitment to compassionate medicine and a great client experience

What You’ll Do

  • Assist veterinarians during exams, procedures, and surgeries to ensure safe, efficient patient care
  • Perform blood draws, collect lab samples, and prepare tests with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Monitor and record vital signs, administer medications under supervision, and provide gentle animal handling and restraint
  • Maintain clean, organized treatment and exam areas following hospital protocols
  • Communicate clearly with clients, educating them about their pet’s care and ensuring their questions are answered
  • Update electronic medical records accurately (experience with Avi Mark preferred)
  • Support the team as needed — from lab work to front desk help — to keep the hospital running smoothly
