This position is located at Texas Roadhouse Restaurant Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA.

This position is a FLEX position. FLEX positions can be worked anywhere between 0 - 39 hours per week. Hours are not guaranteed.

This announcement is in conjunction with the JBLM NAF job fair at Eagle's Pride Golf Course on Tuesday 6 January 2026. Applicants attending the event will receive first consideration.

• Performs a full range of simple cooking of items that require little to no processing and prepping foods by peeling, chopping, cutting, grinding, pureeing, dredging and etc.
• Operates and cleans a variety of different standard kitchen equipment that use multiple types of heat sources such as gas, electricity, steam and/or microwave.
• Maintains a clean workspace and follows established sanitation procedures when handling food.
• Ensures foods are properly cooked and stored at the correct temperatures to prevent the growth of bacteria.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para. 2 to include a medical examination.
• Able and willing to work a schedule that may include nights, weekends and holidays.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical is required for this position.
• Must be 18 years of age at time of appointment.
• Incumbent may be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
