Pay rate: $16.66 to $17.75 per hour

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The role greets, engages, and assists customers in processing sales, loans, and other transactions. The associate works with a variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more.

The position offers hourly pay plus commission based on productivity.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers; fosters a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training and performs other duties as needed.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods; certain duties may involve stairs or outdoor areas depending on location.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Location flexibility to assist customers in exterior areas or retrieve products stored in exterior storage buildings.
• Minimum Age: 18 years;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong service orientation, teamwork, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and cash handling experience; POS system familiarity.
• Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS and common office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal performance. Details provided during interview.
