Job SummaryResponsible for prospecting and running presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid‑size merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to ultimately close deals within a fast sales cycle. As a Core Payments Relationship Manager (RM) you will report to a District Manager and receive coaching from a Director. Activities include explaining our value proposition, demonstrating our Payments Platform, upselling current clients on other Global Payments products and services, and maintaining regular communication with the Core Payments District Manager.
Job DutiesClose sales of our business solutions with merchants throughout the area. Work closely with your local District Manager to set appointments with business owners in person via your network and referral partnerships that you build. Run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Global Payments solutions to close sales in small to mid‑size businesses.
During the training period, your District Manager will accompany you on your initial appointments to train you on our short‑cycle sales process using our CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce, used for lead generation, sales presentations, on‑spot client financial analysis, and paperless contract processing.
Additional Responsibilities- Proactively prospect new clients.
- Maintain existing/prospective client records, including call notes, scheduled client interactions, contact information, and other relevant client information, in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; currently Atlas.
- Meet minimum production requirements, including setting first‑time appointments, to secure quota.
- Continuously build and develop knowledge of our current product/service portfolio and changes in the financial technology industry.
- Attend weekly team meetings and weekly one‑on‑one with your leader.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
- Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.

- High sense of urgency and innate sales talent.
- Enjoys cold‑calling and speaking with people face to face.
- Knowledge of Restaurant and/or Retail industry is a plus.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license required for regular driving to client sites.
- Background check will be conducted after a conditional offer of employment (in accordance with state law).
- Completion of mandatory drug screening on or near the 60th day of employment.
- Live in area relative to job posting location.
- Availability to be in the field at least 75% of the time.
- High school diploma/GED.
- At least two years of relevant experience.
