Inter-Con Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to provide on‑site protection and patrol services.

• Document all physical security breaches/incidents and actions taken.
• Monitor life safety equipment and note any deficiencies in writing to Security Management. Equipment includes AEDs, crash doors, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, duress alarms, and any other equipment identified by the client.
• Respond to all alarm conditions and any other indication of suspicious activity.
• Meet and greet all tenants, sign‑in visitors and contractors.
• Respond effectively to all calls for assistance.
• Show sensitivity to client culture and maintain a positive client brand image.
• Treat client employees, invitees, and guests with utmost courtesy and respect.

• Current guard card license required by Washington State or local law.
• Pass a drug test prior to placement.
• Pass a criminal history check.
• Undergo employment verification back to age 18.
• Undergo motor vehicle record checks.
• May be required to perform emergency duties requiring physical exertion such as standing/walking entire shift, climbing stairs, lifting/carrying objects up to 75 lbs., and running.

• Speak, read, and write English.
• High integrity, security skills, and judgment.
• Above average computer skills and hold all necessary licenses, permits, and certifications required by the states and/or countries of assignment.
