About the Role

Millwrights will install machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings in industrial settings. They perform repair, maintenance, and refurbishment of equipment in accordance with factory standards.

• Install, dismantle or move machinery and heavy equipment according to layout plans, blueprints or other drawings.
• Fabricate, modify or repair mechanical instruments.
• Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines and mechanical equipment in repair.
• Operate machinery or equipment such as forklifts, cranes and jackhammers when needed.
• Engage in pipe fitting, welding, machining, carpentry, or mechanical equipment installation, alignment, and balancing of new equipment using hand tools and precision instruments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor that can be safely performed.
• Comply with approved safety regulations and uphold company values, ethics, and integrity.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Rigging experience.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions, read and interpret engineering specifications, blueprints and schematics.
• Willing to work overtime and travel as required.
• Clean driving record (MVR may be required).

• Lift, carry, push and pull heavy loads (up to 50 lbs).
• Work at elevated heights and in confined or awkward positions.
• Able to work in non-climate-controlled areas and wear PPE correctly.
• Climb ladders, scaffolding, and access overhead structures.
• Good depth perception and color vision; maintain balance on uneven terrain.
• Full use of hands and fingers to manipulate and feel objects.
