Overview
General
Summary:
Yoga instructors are responsible for teaching assigned classes, creating routines for our members to practice, preparing the yoga room for class and sorting/cleaning equipment after classes. Our yoga classes are a benefit for our members and Edgeworks strives to provide quality classes and ample opportunity for our members and guests to better themselves and live more healthfully.
- Provide a welcoming environment for people of all ability levels.
- Create routines and guide people through their practice.
- Choose appropriate music for different classes.
- Teach assigned classes and substitute for classes when needed/available.
- Minimum 200 hour Yoga Instructor certification
- Reliable and professional employee with a strong work ethic
- Previous experience with yoga instruction
- Additional Yoga Instructor training/certifications
- Background in rock climbing and other outdoor activities
- Available to work weekends
- Part-time
- $40-55 per class DOE
