As an Export Specialist you will own the consignment from start to finish, managing airfreight, ocean export‑related decision‑making, and coordinating documentation and communication. The position focuses on negotiating with steamship lines, domestic carriers, and airlines to provide exceptional shipping experiences for clients. Clear communication and a passion for the industry are essential for success.

• Evaluate market opportunities to provide each customer with best‑in‑class transport solutions.
• Negotiate rates that maximize profitability and bring value to customers.
• Prepare and coordinate necessary documentation for efficient, cost‑effective, and lawful export activities.
• Provide outstanding service to clients, agents, vendors, and colleagues.
• Maintain clear communication when providing shipping instructions to overseas partners and clients.
• Ensure attention to detail, cross‑checking information, and effective delegation.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and collaborate with internal teams to embrace change and growth.

• 1–3 years of experience in exports, shipping, transportation or related fields.
• Knowledge of ocean (FCL & LCL) exports and air handling.
• Import experience a plus or willingness to be trained.
• Understanding of export customs laws, practices and procedures.
• Deep understanding of the shipping industry and rate negotiation opportunities.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently or in a team.
• Detail oriented, multi‑tasking, and meeting deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Aptitude for creativity and preference for working in small, collaborative teams.
• Knowledge of Cargo Wise operating system a plus.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
